General Questions

Sitting with the Sisters is a community-focused initiative dedicated to empowering minority women through various programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities. We aim to create a supportive environment where women can build confidence, develop skills, and thrive in both personal and professional spaces.

Our programs are open to all minority women who are looking for support, mentorship, and opportunities for growth in their careers, personal development, or wellness journey.

No, we do not currently offer virtual events.

Programs & Events

We offer a variety of programs including career advancement workshops, financial literacy sessions, health and wellness workshops, leadership development, and mentorship opportunities. You can check our Programs page for more details.

You can sign up for our events here, and our programs here. Each event will have a registration form, and you will receive a confirmation email once registered.

Most of our programs have a registration fee to help cover costs, but we strive to keep them affordable. If donations are provided, they help offset ticket prices (among other operational costs), making our programs more accessible to everyone.

Mentorship & Volunteering

If you’re interested in being a mentor or volunteering with Sitting with the Sisters, you can fill out an application for mentorship here and volunteering here. We’re always looking for passionate individuals to join our community.
